Turbo Cider Alpha (Batch 2)
Turbo Cider Alpha (Batch 2)
A simple recipe of 23 litres of apple juice, shown here in a pyramid.
Champagne Yeast and Yeast Nutrient (optional extra).
Made sure everything was sterilised, then poured all the apple juice
into the fermentor, added yeast and stirred vigourously before
putting the fermentor in a warm place.
As this recipe doesn't require any boiling or heating i actually added the yeast after a few boxes of juice so that the pouring of the remaining
juice helped agitate and activate the yeast.
Since the last time i did Turbo Cider Alpha i have become skilled
with a syphon and learnt a little more about priming, so this batch should come out less yeasty and less carbonated but
hopefully just as tasty.
